Plane
If you wish to take the plane, you can fly into two regional airports:
• Bordeaux–Mérignac (airport code: BOD) (~105 km)
• Bergerac-Dordogne-Périgord (airport code: EGC) (~65 km)

Continue with public transport
From Bordeaux–Mérignac airport there is a 30-minute shuttle bus service to the main train station of Bordeaux, called Bordeaux Saint-Jean. From here you continue with the train to Coutras or Saint-Aigulin, about 32 or 17 km from Chez Pochou, respectively.
From Bergerac-Dordogne-Périgord airport you must take a taxi to the train station of Bergerac. From here you take the train to Libourne and there change to the train to Coutras or Saint-Aigulin.

Train
There are three train stations in the region that are serviced by the high speed train (TGV/INOUI):
• Angoulême (Nouvelle-Aquitaine) (~65 km)
• Bordeaux Saint-Jean (Nouvelle-Aquitaine) (~100 km)
• Libourne (Nouvelle-Aquitaine) (~55 km)
The train station closest to Saint-Aulaye is in Saint-Aigulin, called Saint-Aigulin – La Roche-Chalais (Nouvelle-Aquitaine). It lies along the line Libourne — Angoulême. It is serviced only a few times each day. Take a taxi from there, for instance: Taxi Descout Chartier +33 553 902 425. It is about 17 km to Chez Pochou. The station of Coutras, about 32 km from Chez Pochou, has a much better connection with Bordeaux, as it lies also on the line Libourne — Perigueux.
